SUNSET SESSIONS

Where Light and Love Meet

All of my outdoor sessions take place during the golden hour, the soft, glowing light just before sunset. This beautiful lighting adds a warm, magical touch to every photograph. Outdoor sessions are available during two key seasons: a short spring window in May, and then from July to mid-October. These months provide the most flattering light and vibrant backdrops for your family's story.

Where Nature Frames Your Story

The outdoor spots I use are all close to my studio, peaceful fields and natural backdrops I know inside and out. Because I’ve photographed in them countless times, I know exactly where to go depending on the light, weather, and season. Their proximity also means we can style and prepare right at the studio without losing any time getting to the session. That means less rushing, less guessing, and more time capturing beautiful, meaningful images of your family.

THE FIELD

Just a 5-minute walk from my studio, this golden field is where most of my summer and fall sessions take place. It’s the perfect spot for kids to run free for those joyful, movement-filled shots, and just as lovely for quiet moments nestled in the grass.

THE PATH

This wooded path leads to the field and is especially magical in the fall.
The golden leaves and warm tones create a dreamy backdrop for walking shots, twirls, and cozy family moments—all just steps from the studio.

THE BEACH

This beach feels like a getaway, without having to go far. Just a 12-minute drive from my studio, it offers soft sand, peaceful water, and skies that light up in soft pastel hues at sunset.

Please note: this location is closed for the 2025 seasons.

THE PARK

Just a 3-minute drive from the studio, this spot is especially nice in early August when the tall pink wildflowers are in bloom.
It offers a quiet view with trees in the background and soft light in the evening.
